Today was M&A's first day of school. No real classes yet, but they had various assemblies and meetings and regaled us with stories at dinner. Hard year to be a senior, as all the usual rituals that seniors do had to be moved online. I m so glad this isn't the girls' last year at these schools.
N had his first full day of school too and he did fine. Good news: the internet extender seems to have worked and everyone worked in their respective spaces today and was able to access video meetings, etc. N enjoyed working in his room – he went back and forth between there and the dining room all day. Oh, we did have one problem – his computer wouldn't turn on. I drove to CCES at 8:55 this AM to swap out his chromebook. Looks like a lovely school. (Sigh.)
Here is something funny N wrote on the front walk over the weekend. He came into the den at 11:30 today and announced that he was ready to give a baseball tutoring session. Of course, I was in the middle of a video meeting – not so helpful. I think he is expecting Daddy to enroll.
("Knock on the door if you want baseball tutoring for free. 11:30 on weekdays and on weekends. Thank you!")
