This has been an odd week, with the year starting off in fits and starts. Two snow days, pre-planned half days for GDS, reading day/exam day at Sidwell. So no one had a full week and there has been lots of time at home. A is done with one exam – yay! – and M will start the semester in earnest next week. And A had her first Annie rehearsal today. 

Poor N was supposed to have his first "Club Friday" tonight at the community center with a bunch of other 4th graders, but due to the snow day today, it was canceled. Womp-womp.

That's the word of the year so far – "canceled". Sad.
