I am back from my short trip to FL. I went to my cousin Julie's wedding outside Sarasota. She married a very nice guy named Andrew. She wanted a beach wedding, but sadly it rained during the afternoon of her wedding so they had to move it inside. Here are some pics:

Grampy and I had fun on the trip, which was very short. I was in the house at 11 AM on Sunday.

Over the weekend the girls had a fitting for their demi pointe shoes, which is very exciting. And they have been cast in the Gold Cast, which does the Nutcracker tea. So they are very excited!

Today we had parent-teacher conferences. The girls are doing great. Working hard, doing well on their tests, getting along with their classmates, and overall impressing their teachers. Can't beat that!

Tonight is a slumber party at Ellie's and also a rock-climbing party for Aicha, so lots of schlepping and likely two very tired girls tomorrow.
