Lots of things happened today…

• Girls had class photos taken. Both got mini-braids from Daddy this morning, and both wore very cute outfits.
• After school, A had a rehearsal at her friend Abigail's house ,with three other girls, for a performance they are doing in school next week. They are singing and dancing to Selena Gomez's "Shake It Up".
• M was sad about not being invited to the rehearsal, so she had a special playdate with Nana that included a trip to the toy store and a manicure.
• The girls put on a play tonight. In the play, A was "Charlotte" and M was "Sarah". They played two friends who went to recess together, had a sleepover, went to ballet class and swimming class, and put on a ballet recital. They wore costumes for each act – dress up clothes, tutus, new tutus, bathing suits, and back to dress up dresses.

Despite (because of?) such a full and fun day, the girls were quite cranky and demanding tonight. Sigh. Not that fun.
