Today was a good day for a lot of reasons.
First, and best, was A's parent-teacher conference. Her teacher had wonderful things to say about her: 1) she has a great attitude and always tries her best, loves to please, and will incorporate whatever advice and suggestions her teacher gives her into her work; 2) she is doing great in spelling and math and reading; 3) she gets along with everyone and never has any issues with the other girls in her class; 4) she is "a delight" to have in class. Who could ask for a better review from their kid's teacher? We were thrilled. Great job, A! (M's conference is on Wednesday.)
Second, I put together N's high chair this morning, and he seems to like it. HOW CUTE IS HE?
Here is A entertaining him with foam things on her fingers:
And M sitting by, eating breakfast:
Third, the girls and I went shopping today for new winter clothes. Daddy asked when he came home, "Did you leave any clothes at the mall?" Um, we got a lot of stuff. (I had good coupons.) We hit Gymboree, H&M, Children's Place, and Old Navy, and came home with a great haul. The girls are funny about the clothes they like – they have strong opinions, but I never know what those opinions are going to be. Lots of sweaters and graphic tees, a few dresses, some leggings, an orange coat for M, a pair of boots for A, and some other stuff. It was a very successful day.
Here is the haul:
These clothes will undoubtedly appear in the P&B&B&B blog in the coming weeks and months! So much cute stuff.
Tomorrow is picture day!
