Happy 10th/83rd Birthdays Nate and Grandma!

Today was Nate's 10th and Grandma Sandy's 83rd birthdays!

Nate woke up to singing and breakfast in bed with pancakes shaped like 10s, thanks to Dad. A Feldman family tradition.

He had a regular day of school – here are before-school pics.

We were supposed to have a fancy dinner at Rose's Luxury, but it got rained out since we were supposed to be sitting outside and there were strong storms right before our reservation. So we pivoted and ordered Medium Rare takeout and ate on the back patio. I think N preferred this plan bc he got Medium Rare, which he wanted, and he got to watch the Nats game. Sadly the Marlins walked off in the bottom of the 10th. Classic Nats.

He did get the ice cream cake he requested.

Before dinner we opened presents too. He got a new bike, a bedside lamp with a baseball glove, the blog book, the Office Ladies BFF book, some pool toys, the Vat19 gift card he wanted, some clip-on hand sanitizer for his backpack (he wanted it!), spikeball from the girls, a Nats pillow from Imogene, some fun outdoor toys from Grandma Sandy, and more to come…

The dinner wasn't exactly how we had planned it but it was perfect in the end.
