Yesterday was the girls' 11th birthday! (It was such a long day that I fell asleep before posting last night).
The girls woke up to breakfast in bed, courtesy of Daddy.
Then it was off to school with 60 Lofthouse cookies (so yummy, and so bad for you).
After school, they had to go to Chug Ivrit, but then it was off to ballet for their second performance. They did great! Daddy and I went to the show and we loved it.
We didn't stay for Act II because we wanted to get home so that N could enjoy cake and presents with us before it got too late. (As it was he went to bed after 10.) He loved having cake with the girls.
We finally opened all the presents. The girls loved their presents, especially the laptop! They now have gmail addresses, finally. They also liked their mesh bags for ballet shoes, water bottles, blog book, Stuart Gibbs book, ballet shirts, headphones (M) and seeds for planting vegetables (A).
It was a great birthday! They loved it. They were tired last night but had a fun day.
Today it was back to school, and when we got home there were 3 grandparents in the house! Grandma Dina and Grandpa Ron came down from NY to see the girls in Alice tonight, and Grandma Sandy was here for piano lessons. We went to see the show tonight, and the girls were wonderful as always. We all enjoyed the show.
Grandma also brought the girls' favorite cake from NY tonight and they just ate it.
So sweet of them to come down for the night to celebrate and see the show!
Tomorrow we have a crazy morning. Soccer game, softball game, and birthday party for N's friends ALL AT THE SAME TIME. LITERALLY ALL AT THE SAME TIME.
