I don't even know where to start with this weekend. It was amazing and busy and memorable and momentous.

A had her HAIRSPRAY show at Deal, which was fantastic. She was Brenda and she did an AMAZING job. So much dancing, and A really knows how to dance theatrically. She has a great instinct for it. Best dancer on the stage. She had a great experience in the show and is so sad that it is over. Daddy took lots of videos which I will share on the blog. It was a special show, with lots of energy and a great message. Kids dancing in the aisles, memorable songs. We were lucky to be able to see it a few times. Grandma and Imogene came Friday night, and Grampy and Nana came on Saturday afternoon. M saw it twice, N saw it twice, I saw it twice, and Daddy saw all three shows.

Meanwhile, M recovered from having strep and missing 2 days of school last week. Thankfully, she is much better now. She had a busy weekend, between A's play, Lexi's bat mitzvah in Olney, and Abby's bat mitzvah party yesterday. Lots of celebrating. She made the decision to see HAIRSPRAY again last night and go late to Abby's party, which she really wanted to do.

N liked HAIRSPRAY but said two times was enough. He too had a party yesterday – Carolyn's birthday at the Avalon. He did NOT like the movie Trolls. "Boring".

TODAY IS THE GIRLS' 13th BIRTHDAY! Because of the bat mitz, we were pretty low key this year. We went to the CWS-BAL game in Baltimore and had really amazing first row seats thanks to the GM. Tonight we had Taco Night at home and it was fun. Girls opened presents and Daddy and N made them a chocolate cake. Delicious! Also Ellie made them individual cakes that are delicious.

The girls had lots of calls and messages and Snaps and emails and overall celebrating today from friends and family near and far. They feel very loved. And we love them very much.
