Today was N's birthday. I think he had a great day!!!
He woke up to all of us singing Happy Birthday to him in his bed.
He opened up 2 presents this morning – a ball (which is really a therapy ball that he uses with Gabrielle) and some books.
Then he spent the day with Nana at the playground, picking up the girls at school, hanging at home. He wore his TSNS crown all day! I got home after work with dinner, and we had a lovely dinner here with Nana and Grandma Sandy, whose birthday is also today!!
After dinner – cake, made by Daddy. Isn't it great?
After cake – presents.
Here's what he got:
More books (from Tuvana), a sprinkler ball for outside, a scooter from Grandma, a box of play tools, a box of Legos, a matching game, an iPad-type thing, a train toy from Aunt Darrah and family, and a gekko toy from M&A. N named him Teet, and later changed his name to Teeth. After N's bath, he said he wanted to give Teeth a bath. Teeth is now sleeping in the crib with N. A
A few other cute things:
"N, you are the cutest creature." "No, Mama, I am not a creature. I am a boy."
(After telling N that I'd like to get him a new bookshelf and get rid of the changing table:) "I don't want new things. I want my old things."
He said to Grandma, "Thank you for the special scooter!"
He carried his scooter upstairs, and I told him he was very strong, and he said, "I have very strong muscles."
What a cutie. He's our best little three year-old and we all love him so much. HAPPY BIRTHDAY N!
