Daddy had a quiet but nice birthday today at home. I know he misses the girls a lot and if they were here they would have fussed over him! He went for a nice long run after he woke up, then took N to camp, then had some conference calls, then met Jarrett and Kate for lunch, then worked all afternoon, then came home and said goodnight to N, and then went to dinner with me at Tail Up Goat in Adams Morgan. The food wasn't amazing but we had a nice time.

We're working on a big party for later this fall, with 3 other friends who turned 50 this year.
