Today was Dad's 56th birthday!

He had a very uneventful day at work and then came home and we had a nice dinner at home. We ate outside, despite a severe thunderstorm watch that never led to anything. We had all of Dad's favorite foods and then gave him cards and gifts. I think he had a good night – he was asleep on the couch within 5 minutes of sitting down.
