Happy Birthday Sarah! (yesterday)

Big news from here: Daddy is home! He got back early this morning. Sadly, he's not feeling well and has gone to bed. But we are glad that he is home.

Yesterday was Sarah's 18th birthday! We had dinner with her to celebrate at Nana and Grampy's house. The girls swam and N went in and out a few times for just a few minutes. He only wanted to be held. Very cute. Dinner was great and it was fun to celebrate with her in person!

Otherwise, we had an uneventful Sunday. The girls had a playdate at Alida's in the middle of the day and N and I went to the playground. And in the morning, N and I made banana bread ('nama cake") and blueberry muffins ("booberry tuffin") together. If you ask N what the ingredients are, he will say "Eggs. Water. And NOT apple juice.", because when I put the oil in, he asked if it was apple juice and I said that it wasn't.

Today the girls had another playdate with Alida. We are now watching the Os/Nats game, which isn't going too well, despite some amazing plays by Denard Span. Tonight, the announcer named Span "the most underrated outfielder in baseball" and said that Span has been the story of the season for the Nats. Take that, Grampy!

Tomorrow night we are going to the Nats/Mets game. The first 25,000 fans get Jayson Werth garden gnomes, so we are going early. Like 5PM. I splurged on a parking spot for the game so it should be easy, other than getting down there without being able to use RCP.

This game is not good.
