Happy Halloween!

We had a good Halloween!

This morning Grandma Dina and Grandpa Ron sent us a dozen Duck Donuts! Yum.

This afternoon we had a Halloween Easter Egg hunt here with the RHES crowd – Cole, Jackson, Ayan and Nathan. It was great! We hid 200 eggs filled with candy on our front and back yards and our neighbor's yard and the little park across the street. Tn eggs were marked with stickers which meant whoever found them got to get a toy from the grab bag. We had pizzas and cupcakes too. It was really fun, and the boys had so much fun. I've gotten great texts from the moms who said their sons had a lot of fun.

After they left, N had a short rest and we got ready for baseball practice with Emmitt.

After baseball, N and I drove to CCDC o do some trick or treating with the Hartig-Martins. It ended up being great. A bunch of families in their neighborhood set up tables on their yards or porches and put out bags of candy. No crowds, hardly any trick or treaters. All very efficient and pleasant and fun for the boys. N got a lot of candy, especially because we stopped at houses in AU Park en route and then en route home after. Then we went up and down Kirke Street and Irving Street and people had put out candy bags here too, so N got a ton of candy altogether.

Meanwhile the girls are out tonight. A is at Gilley's dressed in 70s flower power and M is at Maddy's house dressed in Great Gatsby gear. I stopped by there to drop off some leftover candy and they were eating a charcuterie board in the living room.

All in all, a good Halloween.  I haven't gotten reports on the girls' nights yet but N said it was a great one. OH – Daddy made V-O-T-E pumpkins!
