We have just returned home from our early evening NYE celebration at South Seas in Captiva. They had music and overpriced food and balloon guy and people with glow bracelets and they counted down til "midnight" (8PM) with a ball drop of beach balls. It was very pleasant and safe and fun for the kids. We're back in the room now and going to play a game and watch the ball drop. Oh, did I mention the froyo and the trolley rides to and from?

We also watched the sunset on the beach after a day of beach and pool and relaxing. 82 and sunny. Can't complain about anything! What a fun vacation.

N has been saying "Happy New Year, Goodnight" for the last few minutes. He may be finally going to bed (10:10PM). He got an awesome balloon Christmas tree hat tonight.

The girls = adorable. They played together in the pool a lot today. We had a game of catch where we threw/caught 106 times in the pool without dropping the ball.

A just asked me, "Did we say anything cute or funny today?" I said, "Well did you?" and she said "If it were cute or funny, it would have been memorable."

We've been listening to an awesome classic rock station here. A likes to rate all the songs on a scale of one to ten. She's learning a lot of songs and bands.
