We had a fun and quiet Valentine's Day here at home. The girls went to a Chinese New Year party at Annelise's, where they made dumplings and made ornaments. We had a special dinner here that I made mostly for Daddy – roast chicken (I roasted a chicken!), a lentil stew that we ate at the snowy, potluck a few weeks ago, brussels sprouts and breads. Valentines were exchanged among the family and we had a nice day. It's a long weekend, so there was no Sunday School and M has no ballet tomorrow. It has been nice just getting things done at home.

N entertained himself for much for much of the day with a balloon he got at Posey's birthday party yesterday. He kept letting it fly to the ceiling and then saying things like, "Oh no, the balloon is going to go all the way to New York/Seattle/Hawaii! We have to get it!"
