Have a Hoot

Our day in Shohola was fun and relaxing. This morning, we played with N, and then when he took a nap, I went running with M and then with A. We ran about 1.5 miles. M is a great sprinter, and A is a great distance runner. They both did an excellent job and I am very proud of them!

After lunch, we finally went to the place the girls have been talking about since Camp RonDeeVous: Have a Hoot. It's a "family fun center" about 15 minutes away. The girls were SO excited to go – here they are right before we went in:

They had a great time. I will upload pics from my camera when I get home. We are glad that we finally got to see it, and that the girls got to go. N was very good and just hung out and watched.

After we got home, we did some reading, the girls played Clue, N took a snooze, and then it was time for dinner. After dinner we tried to use A's telescope which she got from M for Hanukah, but couldn't see anything through it. Not sure what is wrong with it.

Both girls finished The Westing Game, a book that both Daddy and I loved growing up. They are going to use it for their April book report, which is supposed to be about a mystery.

N is crawling, climbing, exploring, eating, babbling and smiling. What a cutie! It is no suprrise that he is enormous. Here is what he ate today: breastmilk, rice cereal, Cheerios, bottle, sweet potatoes w/ rice cereal, bottle and Cheerios at Have a Hoot, baby food for dinner (first round was pouch food that was so disgusting I had to throw it out – no more Ella's!), small pieces of banana, Cheerios, bottle, shredded cheese, breastmilk.

Wow.

Here is a video of him moving around today:

OK, girls are finally off to bed after an emotional night watching Father of the Bride. Apparently that was NOT a good choice for movie night.
