This was a busy weekend. We had a lot of events and activities going on – it is that time of year!
I was out Friday night for my work holiday party. We all got a personalized bobblehead. This is mine; it doesn't look like me at all! But others' did look like them. All of the women with long brown hair looked the same.
On Saturday we got ready for the cookie swap. All of the kids were great. A helped with cleanup and presentation. M helped me put food out and taped the labels to the boxes. N was so excited and memorized everyone's names and what order we predicted they would arrive in. The cookie swap itself was a lot of fun. We got some great cookies and everyone had a nice time. It was relaxed and festive.
Last night, the girls stayed with N while I went out and Daddy was en route home from NY.
Today we had Chanukah dinner at Grandma Sandy's – latkas, prime rib and Caesar salad. Delicious! It was a lovely night and we got some nice presents too.
N and A have been helping me assemble some dried soup jars as gifts. We gave some to Grandma Sandy's tonight.
