We are home from OBX. It is good to be home, but also sad that the trip is over. We had a good vacation. Two weeks away felt like a lot, which this summer was really important. 

Highlights from the trip – great weather, relaxing on the beach, A's learning to surf, N's baseball obsession reaching new heights, yummy dinners, walks on the beach, puzzles (3!), games, and lots of time with the Spectors. That worked out really well. Our families got along great, and we were mellow and uptight in all the same ways. It was fun to spend so much time with them. The house was big enough for all of us to hang out and also have separate time. We went tubing with them, played mini golf with them, had big dinners, played poker and Celebrity and other games, and just hung out. All fun.

Now we are back and life will start up soon – school, back to work and meetings, etc.
