Yesterday when I took N to camp, he wasn't as excited about it. I had to leave after about 10 minutes, and he got very teary. It broke my heart. I stayed for another 10 minutes or so, but then when I left for good, he was crying again. I asked the counselor to come over and help transition him into the activities and that seemed to help. Thankfully Imogene came early to get him and he was happy to see her. Today, Daddy took N to camp and stayed for 30 minutes, and M went too and stayed for almost 2 hours! She stayed and took some videos and now knows everyone's name. What a good sister!!
N had a hit yesterday but then apparently he didn't realize he was supposed to run. Today he had a home run (according to N). No one was there to corroborate it.
It does seem like he's having an OK time, notwithstanding the tears.
Many thank you notes have been written in the last 24 hours. Many. Here is the latest email about the TY notes: Rec'd the girls' Thank You Notes. Precious. Loved Them. (from Bill Keane)
Amy is still here but things are starting to improve a bit, or at least stabilize. We have been having a lot of fun having her here.
