Last Day of Camp

The girls had their last day of camp today. There was a presentation during the last half hour, which Grandma Sandy, Imogene and I came to. M's presentation was a tall tale about why cowboys wear hats, and A's was a story about horses. They were very cute. I think the girls enjoyed the camp. Not sure they will want to go back next year, but it wasn't bad for a week. And of course, the receptionist/admin woman said to me when we walked in, "Those girls are sooo cute."

Baby fish is still alive.

The girls are at a sleepover tonight at their friend Ellie's house. M was apprehensive about going because Ellie is more A's friend than M's, but they all seemed happy when I dropped them off.

Signs that the girls are getting older: Today, we tried to remember the names of all of the Wiggles, and it took us a long time. And we couldn't remember many of the Wiggles songs either. The girls said that it was "so embarrassing" that they had fun at Sesame Live when they were little and they laughed so hard at Barney (as did I).

Signs that the girls are not getting older that fast: I tried to get away with not sending Piggy and Bunny and Baby and Blankie along on the sleepover tonight. Not successful. I got a call from Ellie's mom at 8:30 saying that the girls wanted me to come back with P&B&B&B.

Here are some more pics – one of the girls wearing wax lips and one of A playing "Heart and Soul" with Rachel.

Tomorrow we leave for a week at the lake house with Dina, Ron, Deb, Darrah, Jonathan, Jason, Ben, Olivia and Sydney. Whew! Packing up tonight.
