Last Day of School of the Year

We've been in a sprint getting to the last day of school, and I think everyone is feeling a little rundown. We're all ready for a break! Poor N has been under the weather for the last few days – coughing, sneezing and a fever at night.

The girls are done with homework til January – they just have to focus on their school applications over vacation. Once the essays are in, they are done!

And N had a great last day of school today – a holiday party this morning with stations including reading, making snow, making votive candles, playing dreidel, eating latkes, and making gingerbread houses. Amazing! Daddy and I both volunteered to help, and Daddy read some Hanukah books to the kids and I helped with the snowmaking station. It was a lot of fun. N also had a cookie swap and a book exchange. What a teacher he has! Really fun for the kids. Oh, and they wore pajamas.

I also have to share this photo. N made a list of all of hte people who came to the cookie swap last weekend, crossed them out when they arrived, and then crossed them out in another color when they left.
