Last Day of Vacation

I think the girls had a good last day of vacation. A woke up early and she read a whole fairy book, which is a big deal for her. Then M woke up and I let them play a little Wii. Grandma came over and gave them a piano lesson, and this afternoon they had tennis. When I got home from work tonight, it was such a gorgeous night that we walked up to Broad Branch Market and got ice cream. We had Allie with us, so I sent the girls in with a twenty to buy the ice cream themselves. It was so cute. I watched from outside and I saw A get a sample of one flavor, and then they came out a few minute s later with two ice cream cones and $15.50 in change. A got cotton candy with gummy bears and M got mango sorbet. It was so pleasant and sweet walking up there with them. What a great way to end the day.

M said, "Tomorrow it's another HARD day of school."

A's reading is really coming along.

Thank you for the great pictures. All of you look terrific. You certainly had a lovely day and the girls enjoyed the ice cream and the walk with Allie and you.

You know, when I went to give the girls their (separate) piano lessons, I noticed that they are looking a lot more like each other. Has anyone else felt this way?
