Last Night Before Camp

It has been a very busy few days as we've gotten the girls ready for camp. But they are packed! Four large duffel bags; tons of sheets and towels and blankets and shoes and shirts and pants and swimsuits and books and games and more and more and more. We were very organized and got everything packed by about 1PM today. All that remains is their toothbrushes and hairbrushes and the stuff they wore today. Lots of labels and ironing and Sharpies.

The girls are a little nervous but excited. I am very sad but excited for them. There have been a lot of hugs today.

In the days leading up to the weekend, the girls had a sleepover at Grandma Sandy's on Thursday night, went swimming at Nana and Grampy's today, had a playdate with Ellie, baked a lot, made smoothies, hung out a lot at home and helped with packing. They had a lot of fun at Grandma's, where they played card games and watched funny shows on TV.

A just said, "It's going to be the Cowie blog for two weeks." She and N just did an eskimo kiss. He is going to miss them so much.

M just made me two white chocolate chip cookie pies to tide me over while she is gone. What a sweetie. I told her I will feel her love in every bite.

I think we are all exhausted and need to go to bed, but it's our last night together for a while so we want to be together.

We need to be at Louise between 8:30 and 10:30 and it's an hour and half away, so we have to get up pretty early. We're ready!
