Le Weekend by Les Nombres

I think the parent-daughter soccer game really took it out of me today because I am exhausted.

Here's what happened this weekend:

Bat Mitzvahs: 1 – Lindsey G.

Score of parent-child soccer game: 3-1 (4-1 if you count a goal that was rescinded due to offsides). Great respect for these girls who get out there and play these long games, because it is very tiring.

Out of town visitors: 4 – All 4 Kinches!

Playdates for N: 1 – Livia's next door

Weird book read for book club: The Art of Not Breathing. (Thankfully a recommendation from Ellie…)

Walks taken in RCP with Amy: 1

Number of years before we will see a moon like tonight's Supermoon again: 70

Years since I was a cherub: 30 (We had a reunion last night – so much fun.)

Number of popular votes by which Hillary won the election: 2 million and counting

Haircuts: 1 (N)

Ok, I must go to bed. I sign off with this email from A, which she sent to Daddy:

Haha. Well, I'll be running in 2036 when I'm 37! I'll go to Brown, get a degree in political science, and become senator of Maryland. Then I'll run in 2036!

Mr. McVey Finney and I were talking about the election and how it was so sad. I said, "Well. I'll run in 2036" and Mr. McVey said the SAME THING. He told me that when he was on his way to work today, he was doing the math for when I would become president. He even told Maddie that he was waiting for ME to become president. Then at the end of the school day he said to make sure to tell him when to start campaigning.
