Live! From the Detroit Auto Show

So I am back in the D. (Also known as Detroit). For the uninformed, GM unveiled a concept biofuel Saab crossover and a new, sporty, eco-conscious Hummer today. And GM won Car of the Year with its 2008 Malibu.

But I know that’s not why you’re reading this blog. You want to know what M&A are up to. Yesterday, they went to gymnastics in the morning and accompanied me to the bank, dry cleaner and gas station. We had a long discussion about how the car was hungry and was complaining to me that it needed some food. It was so hungry, in fact, that it was flashing a yellow light at me to get me to feed it.

Unfortunately, I had to leave for the airport while they were napping, so I missed the second half of the day. I heard from the girls that they read Annabelle, Zin Zin Zin and Subway last night.

Today, they had a very busy day. They went to their first creative movement class this morning. Daddy and the girls said that it went well. Apparently there were a lot of balloons – I need to get to the bottom of that and see what that was about. Then they rushed to pick up Buppie and go to a kids’ concert at the Kennedy Center. And right now I believe they are at a birthday party. Poor Daddy has been rushing all over the place and is exhausted, but he’s doing a great job. Rumor has it that he may do a guest post about the weekend – if he can find the time!

Here are some pictures from Friday, of M and A proudly showing how they organized some pieces of a game, and A’s letters she drew on the puppet theater.
