Lots To Be Proud Of Today!

It was a very successful day today in the F/W household!

Despite her parents oversleeping and getting her to her 8AM game late, A had a good soccer game. They beat GDS and A had a goal attempt, which was great.

M's team, the Orioles, had their first win this afternoon, against the Lafayette team. M scored the winning point when she ran home from 3rd. What a satisfying win! Now when M passes all those boys in class on Monday she can have an extra spring in her step.

And little N went to his second birthday party ever – his friend Mira turned 3. The girls came with us and they were helpful in keeping an eye on N. The guy at My Gym kept calling them "Soccer" and "Baseball" because of their team uniforms. N rejected the pizza but ate his entire piece of cake.

Of course, he also had another spill this evening on a walk and scraped up his chin again.

So, it was a long but good day!

Here are some videos about Lafayette breaking the record for the most people popping bubble wrap at the same time. You can see both M and A (well, her feet) in the Fox one and M's full body from the back in the NBC one.
