I have to give a shout out to my girls, M & A, who have been really remarkable this week. Here are all the reasons why.

1. They went back to school without missing a beat. A doesn't even have a homeroom teacher right now bc her teacher is out sick for a few weeks. She has been unfazed by the whole thing. They have woken up cheerful every day and have gotten ready for school on time.

2. They went back to ballet without missing a beat. Two days in a row of two-hour classes with the head of the ballet school (scary!). They are sore today and haven't complained once. 

3. They let me go to bootcamp yesterday. (And hopefully tomorrow??)

4. They have been great with N. They took a shower with him tonight because he has become adverse to baths. He was so happy to be in there with them. They shampooed him and cleaned him and were just adorable. Then A was the White Monster and crawled into his room under a towel.

5. They seem to be navigating complicated 5th grade social politics well. I am not saying that they are totally happy with everything, but they are taking it in stride.

6. They have practiced the piano every day without being reminded.

7. I am solo parenting this week and they have been very helpful, especially in the morning.

8. A hasn't cried (much) when I expand her expander.

9. They've slept in my bed every night and A has left me enough room.

10. They've given Imogene a huge hug every time she walks in.

11. They have mostly gotten along really well. 

I love these girls. They are the ABSOLUTE BEST!
