The girls are back from NY! They had a great time with Grandma Dina and Grandpa Ron. Here is what they did, according to the girls:
First, they went from Penn Station on Wednesday to Black Tap Cafe. They had amazing burgers and Freak Shakes.
From there, they walked around midtown and walked to the border of Central Park, the NHL Store, and the LOVE sign. They did a lot of walking around. Then they went to the car and drove to the theater district and saw The Show That Went Wrong. They thought it was very funny. After the show, they walked through Times Square and went to an Italian bakery called Veniero's and M got a diamond bocce and A had an eclair.
On Thursday, they woke up (very late), ate Fruit Loops and 4 pounds of strawberries, and left around 1. They went to the Greek exhibit in the Met, then left and had an early dinner of Greek food at "an amazing Greek restaurant". Then they dawdled and ended up in a big ush to get to Hello Dolly. They saw Hello Dolly starring Bernadette Peters and Victor Garber ("he's very impressive") and then they went back to Veniero's and didn't get home 'til 12:30.
Today they woke up, had a Boba Milkshake (M), and then went to the train station. The train was fine but more bumpy coming back than going up.
Lots of theater, grandparent time, walking and food. Thank you to Grandma and Grandpa for showing the girls such a wonderful time in NY!!
