We had a fun Memorial Day weekend despite the weather, which finally cleared up today.

We wanted to do something different and new today, so we went to the US Botanical Garden, which was lovely! Lucky came too!

On the way home, A suggested on her own that we could listen to Here Come The ABCs on the way home, which she doesn't usually want to do. N was very excited, and he said, "A doesn't like to listen to Here Come the ABCs, but she still said we could do it. I am very impressed with A." How cute is that! And they DID listen to it on her phone and he was in heaven.

We also went swimming at Grampy's, which was lovely too. And the Nats were winning while we were there, so Grampy certainly brought them good luck.

Yesterday was too rainy for swimming so we went to… Target. Not as fun. But M and N got some cute bathing suits.

Back to school tomorrow.

Oh, one more nice comment about the girls' thank-you notes (and Grampy commented on them too today when we saw him):

I just received M and A's thank you notes. They are both beautiful, personal, thoughtful and very mature. I have never received such carefully written, thoughtful or lengthy thank you notes. They were obviously personal.
