What a weekend!
We each had a great weekend – and a different weekend from each other! The five of us scattered to different parts and had lots to report tonight.
M&A went to NY and spent the weekend with Grandma Dina and Grandpa Ron. They did a lot of really fun things: saw Misty Copeland in La Fille Mal Gardee; went to the Tenement Museum; ate at Turkish, Italian, Chinese (dim sum) and deli restaurants; ate a ton of sweets; went swimming; saw Darrah and Jason and Sydney and Eden; toured the Lower East Side (pickle store); and hung out a lot with their grandparents. They had a great time! Thank you Ron and Dina for an excellent weekend for the girls! They have pics on the camera which I will take off this week, but here's one for now:
N had a fun weekend too. He went on a Teacher's Treat outing on Sunday with Kornelia and Katelyn and Miles to Wheaton Park. He rode the train, went on the carousel and had ice cream. Sounds like a really fun time! We have lots of pics.
On Saturday, Daddy took N out for some fun things: he saw Anthony Rendon at Livingston Playground and then went to Glen Echo to ride the carousel there. And today, N helped me buy and plant impatiens in the backyard. He honestly was a big help! He helped pull them out of the pots, removed the signs, watered the plants after, and helped clean up.
Daddy had a fun weekend – he went to a State Department wedding on Saturday and got to hang out with his close friends from SRAP. He also did a lot of driving – 2 roundtrips to Philly during peak Memorial Day Weekend hours.
And as for me, I had the most amazing time at my 25th reunion at Brown. I had so much fun seeing old friends and being back on campus. What a blast.
So as we end this very eventful weekend, we look forward to a great week ahead. M is done with ballet; it is N's last week of school – three more days to go – and we're seeing the end of 6th grade in sight too. I pulled up the camp packing list today – that's my next project!
