M went to school today, but A is still under the weather and stayed home. Hopefully tomorrow we will be fever-free!

I never shared the girls' midyear ballet evaluations, which we received while on our trip to London. We are very proud of the girls. These teachers are very demanding and the girls got great marks for their attitude and really strong marks for the technical and physical aspects. (Both girls got "Consistently Demonstrates" or "Frequently Demonstrates" for everything except "Use of Feet" which apparently they only "Sometimes" demonstrate. I guess most of the times they dance on their hands?)

Written comments for M: "M is a very happy girl in ballet class. She enjoys the discipline and has a great attitude. Continue to work on foot flexibility. She needs to pay closer attention to body alignment while at the barre for full power of the spine. She works very well for Mr. Han and me."

For A: "I am very happy to be teaching A. She loves to dance and it shows. Continue to work on foot flexibility and core strength outside of the classroom. She has a lovely work ethic."
