Missouri Report

I haven't posted since last Wednesday, and a lot of things happened!

On Thursday, I was in Kansas City and at night after the conference, I went to the Royals game. It was really fun. They lost, but it was great to be at another stadium for a playoff game.

On Friday, Daddy flew with the kids to St. Louis. They drove to Clayton and stopped at our friend Judy's house. They drove around a little bit and saw Wash U. and Daddy's old house, and had a yummy dinner. Then Daddy went to a reunion event in St. Louis and the girls had a babysitter named Sarah who they really liked.

On Saturday, I drove from Kansas City to St. Louis and met up with everyone right before the Clayton High School homecoming football game. We spent the rest of the day driving around Clayton. We saw Daddy's old houses on Wydown and Arundel, and Grandma Dina's old houses in Clayton and St. Louis. We saw Daddy's three schools – Clayton HS, Wydown MS and Captain ES – and Grandma Dina's school Dewey. We also went to Art Hill and some of Daddy's favorite food establishments in St. Louis: Amighettis' Italian deli and of course, Ted Drewes.

Last night we went out for drinks with his classmates. I had no voice all day and it was very hard to talk, so I headed out a little early and Daddy had a fun night catching up with people. The girls were home with the same babysitter and N was asleep after a second day without a nap!

Today, we had to get up really early for a 8:45 flight out of St. Louis. We made it and even though we were tired, had a busy day today. M had her first Little Butterfly rehearsal, and A took N next door to Livia's 3rd birthday party. It was such a treat to have her take him instead of us! (M&A were both invited too). She did a great job. And tonight M&A are at a slumber party at Ellen's house. N was exhausted and went right to sleep.

Daddy has more pictures which he will share later. We all had a lot of fun seeing where he grew up, and it was gorgeous in Clayton. Very idyllic.

Girls are off tomorrow but N has school and we both have work.
