Today we had a bat mitzvah prep meeting with the cantor. It went very well. The girls did a great job on their Torah portions and just have to work on the second halves of their haftorah portions. It was the first time Daddy and I heard them read their portions and they were fantastic! She was very impressed. We also need to start working on speeches. Lots of other detail questions about timing and sequence of the event.

The invitations have arrived but they are with the planner right now. Hopefully we will get to see them tomorrow. They will go out next week.

M is leaving for a Model UN trip to Boston tomorrow! She is very excited! She is packed and ready to go. We're all going to miss her very much. Tonight she is having a slumber party with N and sleeping in his bed with him (though he is already asleep and she is still up).

A and I are planning to go to the mall tomorrow after school and (gasp!) get her ears pierced! Very exciting. We are also going to look for BM dresses but we won't have a lot of time.

It has been a long week – looking forward to the weekend.
