Monday around here…

A arrived at school to learn the sad news that a 5th grader who was on leave this year died in the attacks in Sri Lanka yesterday. The school was very upset and A had a hard time with the news. Sounds like he was a very good kid and it is a big loss for everyone. She also had a hard night tonight – 8 page research paper rough draft due tomorrow – but she powered through. Nice job A!

Poor M has TWO papers due tomorrow. She's tired from 5:30 AM softball wakeup. Poor pup.

N went to the playground after school and apparently rode his bike around 24 times and only fell over 3 times. We need to take the training wheels off soon! But I am glad he's back on the bike. And he's back at school after Spring Break and seemed OK with it.
