Monitor Song

We still use a monitor to hear what’s going on in the girls’ room after they go to sleep. Right now, they are singing together. To the tune of "London Bridge is Falling Down," they have created a song with many verses:

"Mommy, Mommy, Mommy Mom… Mommy Mom, Mommy Mom… Mommy, Mommy, Mommy Mom, … Mom-my Mommy!"

Then "Daddy, Daddy", "Lexa, Lexa", "Allie, Allie", "Buppie, Buppie", "Grandma, Grandma", "Aunta Darrah, Aunta Darrah", "Grampy, Grampy", "Nana, Nana".

A just said, "What other words can we use?" M suggested "Turtle" and A said no. So they decided to do "Harold," who picks up Imogene (our nanny) every night. And now "Tyler" (Imogene’s son).

It is the cutest thing to listen to.

One more thing. We had a really fun dinner with Tuvana and Shirish last night. And before we went over to their house Aliyah asked “when are auntie Darrah and uncle Jason coming over?” How funny is that?! I love it.

The song about M and A singing to the tune of “London Bridges, etc.” is so clever. I love the story.
