It was very hot here today, so the girls stayed in most of the day and read, hung out, watched Nanny McPhee, listened to Radio Disney on Sirius, and created a whole house for their American Girl dolls. When I got home from work, we walked up to Broad Branch Market and the girls got Kit Kat bars that were pretty much melted 3 minutes after we left the store.

A saw a friend from school, who kept calling to her and saying something she didn't understand. She said "What?" a few times, and he kept repeating it, and then she said, "Oh, OK!" and then confessed that she had no idea what he said. She said, yeah, I do that sometimes when I just can't understand what someone is saying. I said, hmm, I've maybe done that before. 🙂

M & A finished long books today! M read a Mrs Piggle Wiggle book and A finished a Boxcar Children book. A is telling Daddy the whole story of what happened in the book right now.
