Last night at dinner, I turned to M and said, "M, you need to tell your Chug Ivrit teacher that you will be missing the service on Friday night when you're supposed to recite the prayers." (They have a ballet rehearsal.) A said to me, "Mommy, I am perfectly capable of doing that too." So I turned to her and said, "OK, A, will you tell Morah Helen that you can't make it to the service on Friday?" Without missing a beat, she said, "You know, M can do it too, Mommy."

We've laid out the components of the State Fair posters on the posters, but haven't glued them on yet. That leaves making the dishes, pulling together all of the items that go in the suitcases, and finishing off the posters.

Little N has more and more personality every day. He likes to laugh and make us laugh, especially when he mimics us.
