This blog is following a pattern… updates on the girls, with pics they've shared, and then a post about N.
I'll start with N.
I got to hear him do his speech yesterday because I was there for library volunteering. He did a great job. He didn't win – there must have been 14 people who ran for treasurer – but he should feel proud of himself for running. Tons of kids ran for all of the positions.
N had some great defensive plays today in baseball. We called him a ball magnet because he saw so much action.
Here he is giving his speech:
He is coming back now from a sleepunder at Charlie's house. A few cute things: when N walked in, he said to Charlie's mom, "Ooh, it smells like fall in here! I know I said that last time I was here, but I smell it again!" His mom was SO happy that he noticed. Then she said that N spent the first half an hour helping Charlie's sister with her math homework.
A is in Montclair tonight! J made a fancy dinner and she is hanging out with S&R and J&L and the pups.
M spent the day in Taipei at Elephant Mountain and the Night Market.
We haven't gotten much information from M lately, other than that she is having a good time and will meet her host family next weekend! Hopefully we will get to FaceTime with her soon.
