As a kid, I was always envious of people who had the game Mousetrap. I never had it, but I may have played it once or twice at someone's house and I really liked it.

When the girls were little, I bought a used Mousetrap game at a garage sale, and was so excited to play it with them. Sadly, we discovered that one of the pieces was broken, and it wouldn't work. (You need all the pieces for the mousetrap to be successful). And that was that.

But then I bought another version of the game at the MCPOM sale a few years ago, and N and I finally played it tonight. All the pieces are there and they all work! So we built the mousetrap! We also made a slo-mo video of it working.

As of now (12:08AM) all three kids are going back to school tomorrow. The girls will be opening 2 hours late due to ice. No word on MCPS – hopefully it opens on time. Between COVID and snow it has been quite a week.
