LastAnother late night, but I need to post details from the week before I forget them!
My birthday was Wednesday. Daddy was out of town until that evening, so the night before the girls were sleeping in my bed. They stayed up until midnight so that they could sing to me the second it became my birthday. In the morning, I woke up and went to bootcamp and walked L, and then woke up the girls. They again were so excited to wish me happy birthday, and it was the very first thing N said when he woke up.
Wednesday morning wasn't the most fun for the girls: flu shots and scoliosis checks. But they were good sports about it.
They posted these cute photos on Snapchat on Wednesday AM:
Meanwhile M baked up a storm for my birthday, including a huge batch of white chocolate butterfingers and 2 cookie pies. All of it is delicious and I've been eating some every day. A created an adorable treasure hunt in the house, which I did after dinner, and there was a small present at each location in the house. And N made me an adorable card, totally on his own with no one reminding him to do it. I felt very loved and spoiled on Wednesday! The yummy pizza dinner we made with Vace dough was also delicious.
And Daddy flew home from a whirlwind trip to Israel and was home by around 8:30 Wednesday night. Thank you all for such an effort!
Oh, and a nice surprise: I got flowers from Amy at work, and the people at work found out it was my birthday and sang to me (twice) and my team got me a delicious fruit tart.
Last night we went to see The Nutcracker. It was so fun to see the girls reliving all of their parts, and N really liked it (as well as all the commentary from M&A). His favorite parts were the clowns, the snow angels and the soldiers.
