N said so many funny things today.

1. Before nap, I told N that he was full of love. He said, "Yes, I am full of love for everyone." SO SWEET.

2. Tonight he said, "The iPad is more fun than everything else in the world."

3. Tonight he had to poop and didn't want to get off the iPad, so I suggested he use the iPad on the pooper. He said, "That is a great idea! I will do that."

4. He was playing a game with a classical musical soundtrack and the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy came on. He said, "It's the song from the ballet!"

5. He told me he didn't want to go outside and play in the backyard because he wanted his toys back. I asked which toys? He said his slide (true – I sold it) and the hammock. I told him the hammock was in the basement, that I put it away for winter. He was very relieved and asked me every 30 minutes to bring it upstairs from the basement until I finally did.

6. I told N today about some of the things I saw at Lafayette at the open house for admitted parents yesterday. Then he kept saying, "I think Lafayette is going to be really fun."

7. We were talking about passing gas (he is a 3 year old boy) and he said he never passes gas at school because he doesn't want everyone to ask why it smells bad.

8.  M has taught N our house number and he knows the code for my iPad. He also knows Rendon (his favorite), Werth, Harper, Zimmerman and now Scherzer. 

For those keeping track at home, there has been no change yet for the Ellis Island trip. No movement on the waitlist. However, Alida is very unhappy that the girls aren't going (she was promised they'd be going) so she is going to bail on the trip, and her spot will ironically open a spot for M or A (most likely M). So M may be away this weekend. Daddy is going away tomorrow until Saturday.

And Julia D. is i n town and is going to sleep over tomorrow night, as is Ellie! No school on Friday and field trip tomorrow so the girls' week is pretty much done.
