Today the 5th grade at CCES went to the National Gallery of Art for a field trip. N saw lots of artists that he knows because of the postcards from Grandma. Monica (Ayan's mom) chaperoned and sent lots of pics to the Bailey's Moms group chat. Here are some pics from the field trip:

I asked him if he got anything out of the trip today, and he said not really, but that he enjoyed it. He wasn't sure why they went there, but he was glad he went.

Tonight we had dinner with Matt and Ellen (B and U, not to be confused with Matt H and Ellen L-H), which is a fun Friday night tradition we've started recently. Next week we might do a Clue game here on Friday with them. And, we are about to play Clue right now. It remains my worst board game of all time (other than Chess) – I am soo bad at it. We do miss A when it comes to Clue – her Miss Scarlett is to die for.

Super Bowl Weekend! N was on CCNN yesterday with a video he created and edited in which he asked students and teachers who they thought was going to win. Seems that most people are rooting for the Eagles.
