Today, we met Karen, Dave, Asa and Violet for breakfast at the pancake place in Bethesda, which was a lot of fun, and then Daddy and the girls went downtown with the Hamlins on the metro. M & A invited Karen and Violet to go to the Newseum with them, which they did! They went to the Anchorman exhibit and the JFK exhibit. Here are some photos that Daddy sent me. (My computer is cooperating again.)
They took a tour by one of Daddy's favorite restaurants in DC, which is sadly closing today:

I also got this cute note today from our next door neighbor, along with a photo of the girls with her daughters:
"I've been meaning to send you a note with the attached photo. M and A were so kind to come over and celebrate with Bella. She adores them! And, they were awesome help as we were getting ready for the birthday party.
