N’s First Arts Night

Tonight was N's first Arts Night!

Pre-K lined up outside his classroom at 5:50. They all marched into the auditorium at 6 and stood on the stage. N was very excited and kept waving to us. Then when all of pre-K was on stage, they sang 5 songs:

  • A Good Ol' Happy Song
  • Bereleh/Little Snail (this seemed like 2 songs)
  • Grizzly Bear
  • Spring Has Sprung

Adorable.

Then we had pizza in the art room, and then we walked down to the pre-K wing and checked out N's art on display.

M&A got to see some of their old teachers – Gregal and Nickel – and then we headed home. It was a good Arts Night and it reminded me of so many of the girls' Arts Nights. Like ones in the past, it was raining and yucky. I reminded A that we'd always love her artwork and then she'd get mad at us for saying we loved it. She said, "Yep. I'd still do that today."

True.

We also picked up Images, with N's entry:
