There is so much going on around here right now. Each of the events is worthy of a blog post, and I've been flooded with great photos from others of cute events that I could post right now. I think today I will focus on N's birthday party, which we had this morning at Silver Stars. Later this week I will try to remember to post pics of: A at Kennedy Center, M at pre-K graduation, M's last softball game team pic, and last book club of the year photo. It is just that time of year.
N's party went from 11-12:30 at Silver Stars. We had the big room, and we splurged this AM for the moonbounce, which was a great addition. The room is big, and the kids had lots of room to play and run and climb and tumble.
Here's who came:
Carter (N's best friend!)
Joshua
Nathan
Nate K.
Margot
Alma
Suzy
Bella and Livia
Ben Gildea
Allen
Miles
Andrew (my friend Debra's son)
Posey
M&A
Grandma Dina and Grandpa Ron
N had a great time. He ran around, tackled Carter a bunch of times, played, laughed, and was a little shy during the times when he was the center of attention (cake, the parachute). He chose a train-themed cake and he was very excited to open presents when we got home. He got some cute stuff – some books, some toys, some playdoh, some stickers. The whole thing was very sweet. M&A were great helpers and made sure every kid was included. M was running around so much that she kept complaining about being thirsty!
N was beat when we got home!
Here are a bunch of pics:
The kids are also having a great time hanging out with Grandma Dina and Grandpa Ron. They all went to see Pirates of Penzance at Wolf Trap last night, and have been doing some reading and lots of hanging out together at home.
