Today was N's birthday party at the zoo! He had great time. We met in one of the classrooms in the Visitor Center and hung out there for about a half an hour as everyone got there, and then we went for a walk along the Asia Trail. It was very hot and a lot of the animals were in hiding, but we got some great views of the pandas. We returned to the Visitor Center for cupcakes and ice cream and everyone left by noon.

I asked him tonight if he had a good time at his party, and he said, "I was hoping that it would be the best party ever, and it was the best party I've ever had. And that makes me happy."

It is late so I am just going to share a few photos tonight. My phone is charging upstairs and I need to go to bed.

I am so happy that N had a wonderful birthday. He's the cutest, sweetest, smartest and most lovable little boy I know.
