NYU!

It has been an eventful weekend! We dropped A off at NYU yesterday which was exciting, draining, stressful, emotional – all the feels, as they say. Her room is small but will work out nicely. Her roommate is Audra, and her other two suitemates are Julianna and Briza. So far she likes them all and is happy with her setup. She is waiting for the fun to kick in – and it will. We got to see her briefly today for brunch and a Target shopping run. We miss her like crazy. We went to a Tisch open house and spoke to someone in Stella Adler who told us how much she had learned as a freshman and how great the program is, so that is great validation for why she is there!

Hobart is searching the house for A. It's so sad.

N starts school tomorrow – 5th grade! He has a new-t0-CCES but veteran teacher named Ms. Bailey, who seemed very nice when we went to the open house last week. He has Ayan in his homeroom – big yay – and his math and reading teachers also seem great. And N is doing CCNN this year every third week. He's very excited for school tomorrow.
