Odds and Ends

I have a bunch of things to talk about on the blog tonight.

  • Today was Show, Tell and Share day at school. M brought her ballet slippers and A brought a very fragile porcelain doll that Imogene gave her. She told that class that it is very "delicate and fragile".
  • The girls had jobs today! M was Chair Helper and A was Table Washer.

  • Last night, M said she was going to dream about Emily wearing her white dress in The Music Man. Then when she woke up, she said she had had the dream.

  • The girls wanted to watch the Oscars with me tonight, since we had put them to bed right when it started last night. So we watched some of it tonight. At one point, M turned to me and said, "Have you ever won an Oscar, Mommy?"

  • The people planning the auction at the girls' school sent home baguettes with the girls today as a little teaser for the auction (the theme is Paris). I opened one and started eating some of it, and M got quite upset. She said, "No, Mommy! That's for the action! You can't eat it, you have to bring it for the action!" I had to explain that the "action" is in April and that we can eat the bread now because it won't last until then.

  • This is a pitcure that M drew of Imogene. Isn't it amazing? She even included Imogene's glasses.

Wow! So many things going on. M and A really had a busy but fun day. M’s picture is wonderful. She’s quite THE artist.
Love,
Aunt Ann
