Tonight when I got home, after homework, we had an ONLINE SHOPPING EXTRAVAGANZA! The ONLINE SHOPPING EXTRAVAGANZA basically consisted of me loading a bunch of shoe sites and trying to convince the girls that instead of sparkly silver ballet flat shoes, they should be getting solid Mary Jane type shoes in a sensible neutral color. I was not successful. We ended up getting two pairs of boots – which may or may not light up – from one store, and two pairs of ballet flat type shoes that won't match anything, and a pair of pink Converse sneakers for A.

Sigh.

Slightly more success at OldNavy/Gap, though by the time I eBated and couponcoded, I was pretty much done. Still need to buy M a bat and baseball pants. She's not that happy with the color selection of the baseball pants (black, grey, white, and navy). Not sure what's she's expecting, exactly.

It's official! We are going to be bringing this adorable creature home sometime this week!!

We can't wait!!
