Parent-Teacher Conferences

Daddy has left for the week to the Middle East. He will be back on Friday.

We had parent-teacher conferences today with M & A's teachers. They went very well. A's reading skills have really accelerated in 2011, especially this past month. Her math scores are way above average and she is very confident in that area. She is popular and easygoing with the other kids and she has lots of friends.

M's reading and comprehension are very advanced, as are her math skills. She is a nurturing classmate and likes to hang back and let other kids shine even when she knows the answers. She is getting more social and often plays with classmates at recess instead of just seeking out A.

There was a lot more shared at the conferences, and Daddy and I walked out feeling very proud of our wonderful girls.

Meanwhile, I had a good review at work and the eye doctor said that myv vision hasn't changed at all, so it was a good day overall!

The girls had two playdates today – with Molly and Eve in the AM and with Lily in the afternoon. Lily stayed until 7! Back to school tomorrow.
